Experiments Never Fail (T.A. Edison).
Either DO or DO NOT, there is no TRY (Yoda).
Pavel Solin, Associate Professor, University of Nevada, Reno

Welcome to Pavel Solin's home page!

Dr. Solin's research group is developing adaptive higher-order computational methods for partial differential equations (PDE) with particular emphasis on time-dependent multiphysics PDE problems. Applications include large-scale models in nuclear, civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, hydrology, atmospherical sciences, quantum chemistry, image compression, and other fields. Dr. Solin leads several open source projects whose objective is to disseminate modern methods of scientific computing to practitioners and the general public.
