Cubit is a finite element mesh generation software package developed at Sandia
National Labs. This tutorial will introduce participants to the Cubit product
and discuss the various geometry and meshing capabilities it provides. The
tutorial will be appropriate for all levels of mesh generation experience and
will include topics such as:
- geometry clean-up
- surface meshing
- volume meshing (tet and hex)
- mesh quality
- scripting for batch runs
- the Python interface to Cubit
