ESCO 2010
2nd European Seminar on Coupled Problems
June 28 — July 2, 2010, Pilsen, Czech Republic
Post-conference information: ESCO 2010 has finished, thank you very much for your participation! We are posting selected photos from the lectures, historical fencing, and the visit of the cathedral.
Proceedings: The deadline for paper submission is the end of September, but everyone is encouraged to submit their papers earlier to speed up the publication process. The submission to Appl. Math. Comput. is already possible through their online submission system (select ESCO 2010 as article type). Submission to CiCP is now also open. The online submission system can be found here. In the Memo, each submission should clearly indicate "ESCO 2010 submission". CiCP macros can be found here.
Note: All papers must use the journal macros, adhere strictly to the journal's formatting requirements, and be written using flawless English. Papers not meeting these basic quality criteria will be excluded from the review process. The page limit is 30 for keynote invited speakers and 20 for all other papers. Papers submitted to CiCP will have to satisfy more severe quality criteria that are given to us by the editors of the journal. In particular, they must deal with non-trivial physics, which is not required for papers submitted to Appl. Math. Comput.
ESCO 2010 is an international workshop co–sponsored by the University of Nevada (Reno), Institute of Thermomechanics (Prague), University of West Bohemia (Pilsen), and New Technologies Research Centre (Pilsen). The objective of the meeting is to advance the frontiers of computer modeling in various areas of engineering and science. Main topic areas include
- Multiphysics models and methods
- Track on Python in scientific computing
Proceedings
Proceedings of ESCO 2010 will appear as special issues of Communications in Computational Physics (2008 SCI impact factor 2.33) and Appl. Math. Comput. (2008 SCI impact factor 0.961).
