Agros2D
Agros2D is a multiplatform C++ application for the solution of partial differential equations (PDE) based on the Hermes2D library, developed by the group of Pavel Karban at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. The user can create models, solve them using adaptive higher-order finite element methods (hp-FEM), and visualize and postprocess the results. Agros2D is distributed under the GNU General Public License. Currently, the following problem types can be solved:
- Electrostatic fields
- Electric current fields
- Magnetic fields (steady state, harmonic and transient analysis)
- Heat transfer (steady state and transient analysis)
Key Features
- Interactive geometry definition
- AutoCAD DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) import
- Steady state and transient
- Visualization of field variables
- Export of charts, data, and images
- Extraction of local values
- Calculation of surface and volume integrals
- Scripting support (based on Python language)
- Remote control
- Export movies (transient analysis)
- Html report
Operating systems
- Linux
- Windows XP and above
- Mac OS X Leopard and above
